APRIL IS POETRY MONTH!

 

April is National Poetry Month, so now is a terrific time to get creative with words!   Here are a few ideas for celebrating all things poetry this month:

• Submit a poem to Miss Catherine for posting on the blog this month and win a prize!
• Read a novel written in verse, such as Trash, Impulse, or This Full House
• Enter a teen poetry contest
• Check out a poetry website
• Listen to music – lyrics are poetry!
• Write, write, write
