Movie Monday

Movie Club tonight starts at 5:30 pm in the conference room.  We’re watching Tuskegee Airmen – the story of the 332nd Fighter Squadron during World War II.  This movie starring Laurence Fishburne and Cuba Gooding Jr. demonstrates the unexpected success of the first all-black squadron that flew over 100 successful missions.  Action-packed – you won’t want to miss it!

 

 

 

As an added bonus for Black History Month, we’ll also be screening an insightful documentary right here in the reading room!  This documentary (beginning at 4pm) tells the story of ordinary citizens who made a huge impact on American history during the Civil Rights Movement.
